Description du contenu de l'enseignement

Lectures will be axed on :
- sampling strategies (number of samples, location, type of sample,…),
- effects of diverse parameters on the stability of samples (storage, materials, transformation,…),
- description, evaluation in terms of advantages and inconvenience of diverse sampling systems used for air, soil and ater sampling,
- description of technics used for extraction and purification of extracts.
- analysis of samples and interpretation of results.
Lectures will be organised following three schemes : characterisation of air, water and soil pollution. For each of these matrices, examples of specific situation of pollution will be used as support of lecture.
During practices sessions, a direct application of some situation described in lecture will be done. Students will practice common technics commonly used in environmental lobaratories.

Compétences à acquérir

Objectif de l’UE:
This UE is devoted for students in environmental sciences and deal with the principal methods and techniques which can be used for the characterisation of the environment.
This UE contains lectures and practical sessions which include sampling, extraction and analysis of organic pollutants in various matrices (air, water).
Compétences développées et/ou évaluées:
With this UE students could be autonomous for analyzing and elaborate a sampling strategy for a specific situation. They will also in force to evaluate biais, errors and uncertainties of a sampling and analytical strategy.
