*Sources (ICP, EI, ESI, APCI, APPI, MALDI, DESI, SIMS)
*Analyzers (Q, IT, OT, TOF, ICR)
*Detectors
*Non targeted and targeted analyses using mass spectrometry
*Hyphenation of chromatography or capillary electrophoresis with mass spectrometry

Compétences à acquérir

*Understand the principles of chromatography and electrophoresis, applied to various analytes (organic and inorganic)
*Learn which parameters need to be optimized and how they can be optimized
*Understand the principle of mass spectrometry and the specificities/advantages/disadvantages of different sources and analyzers
*Optimize the sample preparation for mass spectrometry
*Learn how to interpret MS and MS/MS spectra
