Compétences à acquérir

You will learn:
•concepts and definitions of monomers units, degree of polymerization, homopolymers
• concepts and definition of copolymers, nomenclature and classification
• chain structure, microstructure, conformation of chain
• about the average molecular weights and polydispersity
• about thermoplastics, thermosets, elestomers

You will be able to:
• process the polymerization methods : step-growth and chain-growth polymerization
• to choose the best ideal condition for any polymerization method
• Determine the kinetics constants ot the different polymerization methods
