  • Production of transgenic crops
  • Molecular biology of plant pathology
  • Molecular biology of nitrogen fixation
  • Biotechnology of algae
  • Engineering of salt, heat, cold, drought and UV light stress tolerance in plants
  • Engineering of plants for human nutrition and health
  • Risk assessment of transgenic crops

Compétences à acquérir

Objectives in terms of acquired skills :
(ie roughly what the student should be able to understand and apply in practical situations at the end of th course)
  • To be familiar with biotechnology of plants and algae, sociological and regulatory aspects of transgenic crops, and plant molecular genetics.
  • To understand the current knowledge of plant pathology, nitrogen fixation and crop improvement.
