Description du contenu de l'enseignement

A key question which challenges all entrepreneurs is: How to grow your business? This course aims at helping students understand the key fund raising issues of a new venture and the particularities of small and medium sized firms. The objective is to learn how to raise funds, when to raise them and from whom. Entrepreneurial Finance will cover the whole entrepreneurial process up to how entrepreneurs can "exit" their venture. At the end of the course, students will be able to overcome the main financing challenges faced by entrepreneurs and apply practical solutions.

Compétences à acquérir

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to
- (level 3) Apply the concept of entrepreneurial finance to its entrepreneurial project
- (level 4) Analyze critically an organisation's financial status as a value creation process
- (level 5) Synthesize the key issues about entrepreneurship finance
- (level 6) Judge each case on funding and type of entrepreneurship
- (level 2) differentiate different sources of funding for entrepreneurs
- (level 2) discuss the pros and cos of each type of funding
