This course covers the basic principles of plate tectonics and answers the following questions:
- What are tectonic plates and how do they interact with each other?
- How did the continents and oceans get to be how they are today?
- What happens at plate boundaries?
- How does plates tectonics explain earthquakes and volcanoes?
- Why do tectonic plates move?
- How was plate tectonics discovered?
